I cant get over how the garlic fries here remind me of being at a baseball stadium for some reason. I get it with the club sandwich. 10/10 The chorizo scramble is my breakfast go to. Landon is the best when it comes to personality and service.
Ordered scrambled eggs got eggs cooked like an omolette and cut in small strips instead. Other than that I enjoyed my meal. French Toast was good and filling. The ham was ham (and thus good) but not particularly noteworthy. I will say however they did not skimp on the portions. I was full and then some. I'm of the quantity over quality school of breakfast thought so this place scores big in my eyes. The decor was also fun. Would come again for the decor alone.
Just moved to Livermore and decided to try it out with my boyfriend. The food was hot, delicious, and fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ambiance is a home kitchen feel, the booths are comfortable. 10/10 would recommend for a yummy bite to eat. As you can see we ate all/most of our food!
Ok, far from fancy and this is a breakfast food review only. I love a good breakfast any time of day and the omelets, pancakes, etc are amazing here. Good breakfast at a fair price ..for California
We had a great time. The service was really nice and the person who seemed to be manager on duty seem to want to train his staff while they worked in a really positive manner. We were able to modify a meal to fit my eating requirements, and really had a very nice time.
We were a party of 4 and were seated right away. The ambiance was nice. Our server Landon was AWSOME!!! He was very attentive to our requests, oh so professional with personality plus. We ordered Chicken Fried Steak, Country Potatoes with Scrambled Eggs, Denver Omelette with Crispy Hash Browns, Scrambled Eggs with Country Potatoes and a Vegetarian Omelette with Steamed Vegetables and a side order Sausage Patties. The food was served piping hot, seasoned to perfection. Very tasty. This is our first time here and will return when we're in the area. Hats off to the cook.
We recently visited this place for brunch and loved it. The quality and quantity of the food was very good. We went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was not too crowded. They had limited staff but took care of us well. I will definitely eat here again.
The Railroad Cafe has been given a complete renovation, with brick facing on every possible surface. It's more effective in person than it looks in the pictures, and there are lots of fun details like a cork map of the United States. Highlights are the beer selection and the seafood sandwich, a pleasing blend of multiple types of fish and shellfish. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, which is a bit odd given the bar-like decor. I'll be back.
